Youth
Ministry
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Trinity Lutheran Church is very committed to the youth in our community.
It is our intent to provide a Christ-centered approach as we work
with youth from the 5th through the 12th grades.
We believe our
approach should include aspects in five different areas of ministry.
Those areas are Spiritual growth, Fellowship, Educational, Service
and Worship opportunities. It is our belief that when we meet the
needs of our youth in these five areas, they will be empowered to
rejoice in their relationship with Jesus as their Savior and be
involved in the ministry God calls all His children.

WHO
IS JESUS?
- He is
your best friend - Jesus is a friend that accepts you just
as you are, in all your uniqueness, talents, abilities, flaws
and shortcomings. He understands you even when you feel the rest
of the world is clueless. He knows when you feel awkward, afraid
and all alone. Jesus is faithful and is always there for you.
- He loves
you all the time - No matter if the world is caving in on
you, and you are struggling with the relationships in your life,
whether at home, at school or at work, Jesus' love is the only
thing that remains constant. There is nothing you can do to change
His abundant love for you. Jesus loves you even when you feel
no one else does.
- He came
to save you - This is about a personal relationship with Jesus.
He sees you just as you are and He wants to have a relationship
with you anyway. That is the level of His love for you. He came
to this earth, born in a lowly stable, lived and grew up facing
the same issues you have. He died on the cross in order to forgive
all your sins and the flaws in your life. Our good news is that
it didn't end at the cross. He rose from the dead on Easter Sunday,
so you too can live with Him for all eternity in heaven.
- He wants
you to be His child - It is simple, Jesus desires to have
a relationship with you. It is His free gift. All you have to
do is believe and be baptized as the Bible says, and you will
inherit the Kingdom of God, through Christ Jesus.
