Vacation Bible School

June 8-12, 2009

Thank you to everyone who supported the VBS ministry.

•  We shared the message of Jesus with 177 children throughout the week.

•  The children brought $372.34 for their mission project for the VBS mission trip to Alaska.

•  VBS Family Night brought in $770.75 for Camp Luther to use to paint the Treehouse Cabins and to repair the canoes and paddle boats.

“God's Big Backyard” 2008

Thank you to everyone who supported the VBS ministry through donations, time, and prayers.

•  179 Children attended VBS.

•  80 Children were from other churches or had no church home.

•  Over $485.00 was collected during the 5 mornings to assist the Lutheran preschool in Hyannis, NE. which serves the Sandhill families.

•  Many neighborhood families came to join us for an evening of fellowship and fun at Family Night.

•  Over $500.00 was made at the games at Family night to be donated to the Third City Clinic.

•  Thank you to the Lutheran Church Extension Fund for the grant to pay for the meal and prizes at Family Night.
