Rev. Jack Gillam (Senior Pastor)

It is a great joy to be part of the Mission and Ministry Team of Trinity Lutheran Church and School. “Connecting People to Jesus ~ Building Homes of Faith” is my mission focus and I invite you partner with me in this mission of serving Christ.

I was born and raised a Cornhusker in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, then attended college at St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas and Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. I served as a DCE in Houston and Austin, Texas and in Birmingham, Alabama prior to entering the seminary in St. Louis. After graduating from Concordia Seminary, I served as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Amherst, Nebraska and then Senior Pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church and School in Stuttgart, Arkansas. I serve as a member of the Executive Board of Pastoral Leadership Institute – International responsible for leadership training of pastors in Tanzania, West Africa.

My wife, Lin, is a teacher – now teaching first grade in Grand Island Public Schools. We have three sons and daughter-in-laws and one grandchild.

Rev. Adam Snoberger

I was born and raised in Lincoln Nebraska.

I Love being at Trinity because God’s people at this vibrant congregation know their Savior and have a zest for serving the people he’s put around them.

My family includes Jess, my beautiful and intelligent wife, whose passions are teaching, technology, and teaching technology. She brings the joy of spontaneity to our life. My bubbly daughter who jibber-jabbers from the time she wakes up to the time she falls asleep. Twin boys whose idea of fun is to spit their food right back out at mommy and daddy. A puggle that figures she can do whatever she wants since she’s the queen of the world.

Other than hanging out with my family, I enjoy running, grilling, and screaming at the TV during pretty much any Husker sporting event.

A Bible verse on my mind as of late – “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light” (1 Peter 2:9). How’s that for an identity! Pretty great (and undeserving!) for someone as messed up as me.

Rev. George Damm (Visitation Pastor)

A native of Wisconsin, Rev. Damm received his B.A. Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1966. He then began working for the Dept. of The Army as an Inventory Mgmt Specialist.

In 1981, he entered Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, receiving his Master of Divinity degree in 1985. Retiring

in 2005 after serving as pastor at several parishes, he and his wife, Nancy, joined Trinity Lutheran. He has served since Jan. 2010 as Part-Time Visitation Pastor at Trinity.

Mrs. Eunice McCarty (Director of Family Life Ministry)

I have been blessed to serve in Family Life Ministry at Trinity since 2000. This ministry encompasses birth through death, focusing on Christian education, children’s ministry, parenting, support groups, and special activities.

Both singles and family units will find Trinity cares about them as individuals. We welcome people from all walks of life into our church family as we offer spiritual, educational, and social opportunities for all ages throughout the week.

I also serve as the Early Childhood Consultant for the Nebraska District, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Before this I taught first grade and preschool in Lutheran Schools for 18 years.

My husband, Leonard, and I live in Grand Island. Our three children and their families also reside in the Grand Island area.
