GROWING YOUNG FAMILIES
This group is for single and married parents who want to develop relationships with other Christian families. The group meets twice a month. The adults have a topic while the children have supervised playtime. Then everyone joins together for snacks, games, etc. Topics vary as well as activities. Adults may meet by themselves sometimes for an evening out or for a longer time to spend on a topic.

TRINITY LWML

“Trinity LWML” is the new ladies society at Trinity, resulting from the merger of Ladies Aid and Ruth Society. Officers of the new society are President, Ruth McClurkin; Vice President, Roberta Gifford; Secretary, Coralee Howell; and Treasurer, Bev Quandt. Regular monthly meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall at 1:30 p.m. on the second Friday of each month. Letters of congratulation for the new society have been received from Janice Wendorf, President of the national Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and from Karen Christner, President of LWML Nebraska District South. The charter for the new society will be presented at the LWML Nebraska District South convention in Hastings on September 26-27, 2008.

The motto for LWML is “Serve the Lord with gladness.”

TRINITY LWML
has all occasion greeting cards and napkins for sell.Come to the Fellowship Hall
between worship services. All proceeds go to Missions.


EVENING GUILD
The Evening Guild, a separate society, normally meets on the third Monday of each month. The Evening Guild was organized to give those women who could not attend daytime meetings the opportunity to join with other women for the purposes of devotion, fellowship and missionary service. Current officers of the Evening Guild are President, Velma Hillman; Vice President, Burdean Christ; Secretary, Joan Patrick; and Treasurer, Marge Johnson.

Any woman who is a communicant member of Trinity Lutheran Church is eligible for membership in these societies. Or, if she cannot join for any reason, she can become a “Lutheran woman missionary” by taking on of the Mite Boxes available at the church's east entrance, saving her mites in the box, and turning it in to the church office for forwarding to the national and district LWML offices to help the LWML meet its financial missionary goals.

QUILT-TYING DAY
Your help is needed to tie quilts - no sewing experience needed. Come and join us on the fourth Thursday of the month- we’ll be tying quilts in the fellowship hall from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Come and go as you please. Bring a sack lunch.
